Kia,

Just as with the sweating, having a somewhat loose fitting band can

be normal in the beginning. They design the bands that way to help

increase the life of the band. If they made the bands to fit tight

against the head, the child would outgrow the band within a matter of

weeks, and thats no good.

Having said that, the band should never be too loose where it shifts

too much, or inhibits vision. If the redness of Cole's head does not

fade within an hour, then another adjustment will be in order. If

the redness does fade, then its probably just a matter of waiting

until he fills in the open area. Let us know how it goes.
