Yesterday was 's usually biweekly appointment to visit Judy.

Since the very beginning he's cried whenever we went in like she was

the biggest, meanest person in the whole wide world! Judy said it

didn't bother her, but I think that after so many visits with no

change in his attitude it was beginning to hurt her feelings! Well

this Thursday he was so good. He whined for about 2 seconds when

she put the helmet on after her adjustments. That was it! He even

waved bye-bye to her! It's about time! We probably only have about

2 more visits left.

Also, 's walking now. He's still a bit wabbly, but he's doing

really well. He's gone as far as 12 feet before he's dropped to his

bum.

Oh! I also found the link to his baby picture on the net at 1 day

old. The hospital took pictures, and posted an announcement on the

net. I went searching today to see if I could find it again, and

did! http://www.infantxpress.com/depot/30026/announcement/005678

He was handsome right from the beginning. :)

Working full-time is sucking. I miss so bad. He's been doing

well at the dayhome though. I got a first hand view of it this

morning. I locked my keys in the house this morning, so I had to

walk to their house, and they gave me a lift to the train station.

(dh picked me up from the train and took me home after work...I

managed to find a way to make it his fault too...lol) Oh well...I

keep telling myself that the good thing about working is that I'll

be able to go on mat leave again we go for baby #2. And dh has been

doing very well at college, so it's making it all worth it. Small

amount of pain for a big amount of gain.

Well...writing a novel here...been too long since I checked in. I

have been flipping through the posts quickly, but with so little

time to myself, I don't get much of a chance to reply.

Take care all!

Velma:

I'm happy to hear finally relaxed a bit for his appt! Abby does

that whenever we go to the pediatrician's office, so I know how

frustrating it is, they turn into the meanest, most aweful kid in the

world! I'm sure Judy has seen it all before!

Sounds like he's had good improvement if you only have about a month

to go! That's terrific. Can't wait to hear of his graduation soon!

I'm sure working full time is difficult, but like you said, it'll be

worth it in the long run.

Thanks for the update.

Velma,

So good to hear from you and to hear all the good news about . How

exciting that he is walking now! Hooray!

Sorry to hear about the working thing. I know what you mean - it sure is hard

to leave those babies behind. I guess the really important thing is to find

someone or someplace you trust and it sounds like you have!

Best of wishes with the working mommy thing and congrats on being an

official " walker " !

Velma,

You must have been so relieved that was a happy camper at his

appointment. My son, Danny, gets really worked up for his well baby

checks. Its so embarrassing, my ped asked me to give him some

Benadryl before he comes in for his next appointment!

I can't believe that you only have about 2 more appointments, and

then you are done. It seems to have really flown by! And congrats

to the big guy on walking! His baby pic is so adorable! Its hard to

picture that that little baby is up and about now!!
