Guest guest
Now I don't feel so nuts!! I am planning on getting Kardyn some sun glasses. I am kinda worried because tomorrow we have to drive to Cincy which is over an hour away from us and I don't have air conditioning in my van. I guess I will have to put water in his feeding pump and maybe that will help keep his body temp down a little. If I had my way he would only have a diaper on. Any suggestions??? Thank you and God bless, a and Kardyn > > My 6 year old is on colchicine for fmf (fever free since first > dose) also gets over-heated easily and is very light sensitive. >
Guest guest
hi earlier saw a Post where someone mentioned you may have to up your salt intake a little during hot weather. am wondering about how to adjust for summer heat and sweating and then trying to stay hydrated properly. how much extra salt does one use in the summer heat and how much water /good liquid should one drink per day? thanks -Carol
Guest guest
very individual. When BP goes up it is too much salt, when down too low not enough. Depends on how much you are in the heat-no hours pre day. If no air Cond you will need more. Weight and BP monitoring would be best indicators--and how you feel.
