Thanks! So do you think then that its safe to trust him and go with the helmet? The dr seems really good..he did thoroughly feel 's head..but now i guess i'm kind of nervous listening to some of you guys. I'm pretty sure it is plagio..but why wouldn't he send us for any x-rays or anything? I feel confident with this dr..and we already have an appt to go for the casting..when is it too late and they can get brain damage?

,

I would say to just be very aware of the progress or lack of progress that is

made in the helmet. If you go a month or two with no correction then that

would be the time to push for the x-rays or, better yet, a 3D CT scan. Does

still have soft spots that you can feel? I think that is why many

specialists that are " hands on " feel certain of their diagnosis - they can

feel those soft spots.

Anyways - just be aware - if is in the helmet for a month of more with

no improvement then that should raise the red flag.

Marci,

Yes, i can feel his soft spots. I'm afraid to go pushing around on his head lol..but i definitely feel some soft spots...and when i read the typical signs of plagio..like the shape of the head and stuff...'s head is not like that...(i know that doesn't mean for sure that he doesn't have it). Yea, the dr did feel all around his head..and he said they are all still open which is really good...so i figured he does this all the time..and he knows what he is looking for.

But i agree..if within a few weeks if there is no improvement at all..i will definitely question my dr further and demand a scan!!

Thanks!!
