Guest guest
I have some experience with that. My older son received his first band at 10 months and graduated three bands later at 24 months. He figured out very quickly how to undo the band, and we found that a length of masking tape over the velcro worked for us. Hope it helps! (She joined out family at 13 months.) He was excellent and full of helpful information. He even wrote a prescription for the DOC band at Craniotech in Miami. His only concern is that becasue she is older and very coordinated, she may be able to take the band off. Anyone out there had any experinece with this? Thanks!Charlotte in FloridaFor more plagio info
Guest guest
Charlotte, I've heard of this being an issue, but there have been several good suggestions of ways around that. My daughter had a one piece helmet, so opening the velcro strap and removing the helmet was not an issue. I'll leave the clever ideas to another DOCband member. I just wanted to say congrats on seeing a great specialist and getting the RX!!! Marci (mom to ) Oklahoma
