older child w/band question

A couple of days ago we received a second opnion about our now 15

month old adopted daughter's plagio--this time from craniofacial

specialist. (She joined out family at 13 months.) He was excellent

and full of helpful information. He even wrote a prescription for

the DOC band at Craniotech in Miami. His only concern is that

becasue she is older and very coordinated, she may be able to take

the band off. Anyone out there had any experinece with this?
