Tom,

We are using the Solihull Psychotherapeutic programme. Are you aware of it?

Ros,

We are using Solihull in Bath & NE Somerset. Are you in touch with Janet Weeks and Barbara Marks who undertook the training of all our HVs? They are currently evaluating the service we provide and it's impact on the CAMHS demand. There may be fruitful co-work.

,

it is really simple. I've been extoling your (PCT) virtues, so I'm glad it is still on the menu!! I've attached the guidelines. I hope you have managed to encourage some of your members to attend, I know it has been a hard slog for us here in Norwich.

Let me know if you have any querries.

Best wishes,

Charlene

Hi Charlene

So sorry I can't be with you on the 14th June but know will be a great representative for Ipswich. Unfortunatly Whiteman who was also due to come along to share info on cognitive behaviour techniques for working with mothers with post natal depression can't make it as she has just got a place on a UNICEF breastfeeding course (something she has been waiting for) We keep mentioning the day here at every meeting - hope it goes well.

Dear – I have just realised

that I failed to thank you for the documents you sent me – thanks very

much, they make for very interesting reading. My impression is that your early

intervention strategy relates to child protection whereas I am looking at early

intervention with regard to emotional and behavioural problems in children. Best

Wishes. Lowenhoff

What a wonderful response - thanks for the information about mellow

parenting - some colleagues of mine are going live in January with a

mellow parenting project which is very exciting - I would like to do the

training but the Trust is horrendously overspent so I can't access it at

present.

I will give you a ring however because i'd love to know how it's working

in your area.

Hello Marjorie

The themes of the World Association of Infant Mental Health conference in Amsterdam were prevention, parents, poverty and policy particularly in relation to baby birth to three years. The website is www.msu.edu/user/waimh. It was a very wide ranging, absorbing and exhausting week. I am now in the process of trying to write it up! You may also like to know of the UK affiliate branch which is thriving, membership growing all the time and bringing together those professionals with a special interest in infant mental health, it is the Association of Infant Mental Health (UK). the web site is http://www.aimh.org.uk/. best wishes Ros Bennet
