Guest guest
HI Kair: I'm happy to hear is doing well in his helmet. I read Marci's reply to you and would simply like to second everything she said. I also saw your reply back to her about wearing the helmet 20 hrs a day. I understand how hard it is to keep them in the band in such hot & sticky weather, but in order to see the best & fastest results from his helmet, you really should try to keep him in it the full 23 hrs as long as he's ok with it. You can take it off a few times in a day to wipe the helmet of any excess sweat, and maybe even give a few min break of it, but otherwise they really recommend keeping the helmet on 23 hrs a day, every day. Guest guest
Kair, I know typically with a band, improvement can be seen as early as the first couple of weeks. I don't know if its much different with a helmet, but there are variables that will determine how quickly the improvements come; such as severity and the rate at which the child is growing. I agree with Debbie that you should try to go for the optimum 23 hours to see improvements quicker. Good luck!
