Guest guest
; I knwo my Abby definitely went thru this. But after they are done with the helmets, and do suffer a few bumps to the noggin and realize there is pain involved, they'll stop. Abby sliced her forehead open very bad when she was out of her band during the one hr off time frame, man, it was so bad! She also used to run under our kitchen table, w/the band....but boy did she learn how it hurt w/o the band!!! Once she's a graduate, and unfortunately, learns the hard way the pain involved, she'll quickly stop banging into things! Guest guest
, my son, Jeffry just got his helmet two days ago. We went in for the first fitting, he was sitting on my husbands lap, my husband banged Jeffry's head on the stroller, the nurse that did the casting, just laughed and said well, at least he is protected now. We all thought that was funny even Jeffry. Now he has been banging toys on his head and laughes at that. Guest guest
, My twins have had their fair share of bumps and bruises both with and without the bands on, its just a part of being a little tyke. I will say though, that when they had their bands on, they used to bang their heads against the wall as a form of amusement (sick kids, I know!) It only took them two or three times to realize that it hurts without the band on.
