I have just read a review of the Dx and Rx problems with Cushings Syndrome and they have the same problems we see in Conn's

70 years after description:

1. No single specific Dx test:24 hr urine, overnight dex suppression

test and salivary saliva cortisol at midnight.

2. Debate on petrosal sinus venous sampling to localize.

3. About a 50% failure rate with surgery-suggests to me most in

mulitnodular not unilateral.

Think I need to write a paper on the evolution of Cushings. In my

spare time.
