First, expressed his admiration for your work, Dr Grim, and

commented positively about your role with this group.

He's a very affable, knowledgeable doctor who listens. I think I am

very fortunate to be able to see him.

The outcome of a long discussion and examination, is that he

recommends a further AVS. I had one in 2004, but by 11.30am, the

glands had gone to sleep(as it were). The results were inconclusive. I

will be in hospital for supervised withdrawal from medication prior to

the AVS. I must say I don't look forward to it, but it is worth a shot

in case surgery can improve my condition.
