Hey i was just wondering how did everyone convinced their doc. to refer or their

specialist to..did you mention the bands right then or wait after to talk to the

neuro?...what do you do if they don't offer the band?..-mary

The first time I asked the ped about the shapes of Kaylie and Danny's

heads, I didn't know enough about plagio to argue with him. But the

second time I brought it up, I think my pediatrician knew I wasn't

going to leave without the number of a specialist when he saw the

folder *full* of information I had with me. He knew I researched

this, and since he's been dealing with me for 6 years, he knew I

wasn't going to take 'No' for an answer. My neuro was a little bit

harder to convince. Basically you have to stand your ground. If you

want to see a specialist, if you want a band, it is your right to do

so. You are the one who will have to answer to Delylah, not these

doctors, and sometimes you have to remind them of that.
