Guest guest
Thanks !! I knew there was more than 1..but not 5..but the dr definitely felt his head and said they are all still open. And i really appreciate all the info you are giving me. This way i can be more informed and ask better questions to the doctors. I learned that there are 5 soft spots on a babies head. I never knew that I thought there was only one!!! I'm going to attach a picture, it shows all the sutures in the skull. Guest guest
Thanks again !! That was helpful... I really don't think it is though.. 's whole back of the head is flat and slightly flatter on the right side...plus the dr has been taking measurements...and each time both the pediatrician and the craniologist said there is brain growth and stuff. However, i do know that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't have it..and of course we will ask more questions and when he goes for the helmet..if it doesn't work..we will know why. Guest guest
you know i would be ?ing myself too...i don't know what would happen if it was too late.. her brain could be damaged if too late..better safe than sorry..those doc.'s if they really cared they would sure (a definite)...you know my daughter's head is flat in the back & to slightly to the right too...i have been trying to reposition her since four ,but it doesn't seem to be doing much help maybe a little bit...good luck nat. & how you are happy about your decision..if there is any doubt you should always make sure..-mary

That's why i started questioning this...b/c i realized that my dr didn't even send us for any x-rays or anything..so i was wondering if that was common... I agree..more info is definitely better!!
