January 30, 1996, I had my acromioclavicular (A/C) removed, actually the

end of my collar bone because of impingement, (it had been shattered in an

airplane wreck - long story).

To make a long story short, My doctor did not forbid me from doing the bench

press, but discouraged me from doing upright rows from that point on.
