I am so sorry and I am so pist off!! I can't believe he told you, he

was the specialist?? A pediatrician is NOT a specialist!!!! IT IS

YOUR LEGAL RIGHT TO SEE A SPECIALIST! This Dr. had NO right to tell

you otherwise! You know from your own research, that her head is

fixable!! This is horrible! What a jerk! He definitely has a " God

Complex " These doctors think there Gods! Is it possible for you to

find a new Dr? I know what you mean about ppl judging you, for your

age. I had my first child when I was 21. Maybe you should call

your " Dr. " back tomorrow and DEMAND a referral. He has to refer you,

this is YOUR child, NOT his. It is YOUR decision NOT his. And if he

knew ANYTHING about plagio, he would know it's NOT just cosmetic!

later the doc comes in and says that her head growth is fine..she's

kept my cool & tried to get him to get a specialist to look at

it.......he looked right into my eyes, sitting in front of me, and

said " i'm the specialist...there's nothing you can do about it(the

head)..and there's nothing you should do about it " .....i was calm

but deep inside i felt like i could cry....two against one...don't

know anything....he said he has seen flatter than my child's ...i

should of asked what he did with them but i could hardly talk or

smile...i'm gonna find another ped...i think they look down on me bc

i'm a new, 21yrs old mom, you know i kept reminding them that i have

done lots of research.....but they wouldn;t hear me out...this is

terrible, i don't care if it's cosmetic....i just want to get to the

ortho. ...i will pay, i don't care....i trust these ped. knowing what

they say is good for my bb (back to sleep) and things just didn't

turn out the same...i should have listened to my MOTHER! -mary i got

to call jaya & get that AR's couples doc!! marci does your ortho

need a referral from a specialist?/??

I am not sure what kind of insurance you have. I have BC/BS PPO. My

ped would not give me a referral either; he said there is nothing

wrong with her face. I told him it was hard to see that it was

bossing unless you look at it from above. Did he do that NO! So I

asked for a referral and he said he wouldn't give me one, but then he

notices that I have a PPO. And says " well I can't stop you from

seeing one " . So I went in for a free consol at the Cranial Tech

Clinic. They confirmed her face is asymmetric. So now that I know I

am not crazy, I called a specialist and have an appt. on Aug. 7th.
