Hi Debbie,

Thank you!!!

I'm so excited! Any articles that sticks out in your mind? I'm also

going to mention this site, plagoicephaly.org and CAPPS to them.

Hopefully the Moms that have computers will get educated!!!

Thanks again,

Hello !

Great news about your invitation to inform people about plagiocephaly.

Congratulations on the honor!

I had a thought... maybe we could collectively work on a power point

presentation on the plagiocephaly?

We could create a power point presentation that could be downloaded and used for

presentations?

What do you all think????

I think you are right on in the need to inform. However, as an educational consultant I have learned that you need to target the right audience or else you'll be exhausted before you begin. Have you tried contacting the "association" of pediatrician or maybe even the medical schools? Two important arenas that you can start with. Maybe even offer a free video to hospitals so that mothers who give birth can learn about this condition before they leave the hospital. There are so many free mailings that would probably love to do a write up on this. As a mother of three, I was lucky enough to have a pediatrician who jumped on it right away and sent me to a Neuro. Other moms who may not catch it in time need to be immersed with info on how to prevent this if possible. Just some thoughts. Good luck. Anastasia

I think this is wonderful! After all you went through to get

in a band, no one is better situated in your area to give this

lecture! Will you be able to find out how many women you will

speaking with? I think it would be great if you could hand out to

each woman a flier of some type with different repositioning

techniques and what not. I see that has offered to work

with you on this, you couldn't be in better hands! You will do a

terrific job!

Thanks Niki!!

Your on the same track as I am. I'd like to print up a bunch of

articles on repositioning and bands and prevention, put it all in

folders and give one to each Mom as they leave! from CT emailed

me and told me CT can give me info that I can hand out! I'm not sure

of how many ppl I'll be talking to yet. As soon as I know, I'll let

you know!

That sounds like a really good idea. I would be happy to help. Any ideas

organizationally how we would start something like that? I think it would be

really helpful because even if someone couldn't hook up their computer to

project the presentation, they could print off the slides and distribute hard

copies or print them and make transparencies.

Great idea!

I will have to give this some thought. All of us should be thinking about

what's important to tell people.

More later!

Could you please also mention the www.torticollis.org as well? Tort is also a leading cause of plagio and it would be so awesome if you could incorporate that into your lecture!

I just got chills reading about your offer to help out with a power point

presentation- I thought about that song, not sure if this is the title, but

" maybe he's an angel " is what it's all about and I think you are definetly

one of our plagio angels out there!

Thanks for always looking out for us!
