Guest guest
Barbara: I'm so happy to hear about the plagio story that will be airing! That's great news. I love to hear about plagio getting the attention it needs. It is possible you've seen improvement already. How old is Sofia now, I can't remember? Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Sofia will be 6 months next Tuesday. I wish I could fast forward time and have Sofia graduate from the band soon. I know this is the best thing for her but it hurts me to see her wearing it (even though I know it doesn't hurt her). Also, I'm breastfeeding and it's hard to do with the band (I try to keep it in place so it doesn't move)any suggestions???? I'm gonna compare pictures from a few weeks ago because I'm pretty sure I see am improvement. Barbara (Mommy to Sofia & Catalina)
Guest guest
Barbara: I never breast fed Abby, so I'm sorry I can't offer any tips there. There have been many other breastfeeding moms with banded babies, I would suggest you Post a question with " breastfeeding while in band " subject header for those moms to give you some helpful tips. The time Sofia is in her band will go by faster than you realize. I was SO upset when Abby got her 1st band, I cried & cried even! Abby couldn't have cared less about it. After the 1st wk or 2, it didn't even phase me any longer. The 1st week is by far the hardest time with the band. Trust me, it will get easier & the time will fly by. 6 mos from now, you'll wish Sofia was just 6 mos old all over again, band & all! With Sofia being younger, you could have seen improvement already! Definitely take a look back at previous pics of her head to compare to. hang in there, I've been where you are & didn't think I'd ever get used to seeing Abby in her band - but I did! Guest guest
Hi Barbara, My husband and I definitely noticed a difference in my 's head within a week. Grandma and Granpda babysit while we work and they noticed it on their own also. I'll ask my parents to check out Univision's schedule on Wednesday and see if the programs airing here and have them tape it for me. Actually, I think I'll ask my Grandma since she watches her novelas all the time. Take care. , 's mom Southern California > Hi everyone, > > First let me thank everyone for all the advise. Guest guest
Barbara, I think if you timed getting the DOCband on with the same time as Sophia hitting a good growth spurt, then I think its very possible that you might be seeing improvemnet already! Which will make her time in the band just all that much shorter! Thanks for letting us know about the plagio story thats going to air! Guest guest
Barbara, I'm sure with Sofia being 6 months old you have already seen improvement and your eyes are not playing tricks on you! We had to go in weekly with wearing it from 5-8 months and every week there was growth and trimming to do! I used to ask Ari or Cari to show me the areas of growth because sometimes it really is hard to spot, but they are the experts and would show me everytime! keep us posted!
