So frustrated!!

Ok...Wanda from the Paramus office...is getting me so frustrated.

The first time she called my insurance company (anthem)...she called us back

to tell us they denied us. When my husband called Anthem...they said they

did not deny it...she didn't follow the proper procedure and didn't get in

touch with the right department and didn't give info.

Well..we told Wanda and she said she would call the right person. The very

next day she calls me back and says she did call the right dept this time and

they denied us again..and we will receive our denial letter.

Well we decided then that we will make the appt for after August then and go

with the new insurance that would be taking over (Guardian) b/c we would

probably have better luck with them.

Well today i get a letter from Anthem...stating that they requested info from

Cranial Technologies so they can review it and make a decision..and they

haven't received it..so we have 30 days to send it in so they can review it

and make the change. Not a denial letter...Wanda had said that she gave them

the info...i think she faxed it or just verbally told them...but she said

they denied the claim. They didn't.....they just need more info. This is

the second time she told us they denied our claim and they didn't. And now

it's too late (when they probably would've paid_) b/c our appt is for Aug 1st

which is when we switch to the new insurance.

I am just so frustrated with her..b/c why twice did she tell us we were

denied when we weren't? Does she want us to pay out of pocket? And the

insurance company won't talk to us...they said she has to be the one to

contact them and send the info in. So now we might've had it paid..and

Guardian (the new insurance) may pay..but who knows.

Sorry..just had to vent. Wanda was much nicer the last time i talked to her

than the first few..but now i'm more angry with her than i was...b/c she lied

and i don't know why. I mean i want to believe that she misunderstood..but

she does this daily..so shouldn't she know what she is doing and what

insurance companies tell her?? How can she misunderstand needing more info

for a denial?

Sheesh - I can't believe that woman! I just can't understand why she would

deliberately tell you the wrong thing. I also cannot understand why your

insurance co says they won't talk to you about. The sure is heck should talk

to you about it! YOU own the policy - not CT - and they should provide you

every single piece of info you want with no questions asked!!!

This whole thing is such a shame, if it were me I would speak to the next

person up the line about her. She does not seem to be doing the job the way

she should. That is such a shame.
