My friend is an OB in Columbus. I can ask her if she can recommend

anyone else or pull strings. If you'd like, just email me off

list. I can't guarantee anything, but I can at least ask her.

Are you on the cancellation list in case anyone else cancels?

We were lucky that our ped just sent us to CT w/o going to a

neurosurgeon. I bet that wait is terribly frustrating.

,

I have tried to email you off list and can't seem to get it through.

Any recommendations your friend could make would be great!

Kristi:

Ugggg, I hear ya! Unfortunately though, that's pretty typical waitng

period for neurosurgeons. It usually takes a good month before you

can get in for an appt.. Maybe someone else has already mentioned

this, but see if you can be put on a cancellation list, that way if

someone cancels their appt, they would call you to see if you would

be able to make it in.

Sorry!

Kristi,

How incredibly frustrating!! I know you said the neuro's office

doesn't think this is a priority, but it is to you, so let it be

known. Don't be afraid to make a pest of yourself and call that

office every other day and ask if there have been any cancellations.

It just might get to a point that they will call you as soon as they

get a cancellation just to shut you up! ;o) As you know, time is of

the essence, so you need that RX, the sooner the better. Good luck

Kristi!
