Kim,

We have had some people whose babies had trouble adjusting. However, after 6

weeks the problem should not longer exist. Maybe she is just extremely sensative

or a light sleeper? Has she learned any new skills lately like crawling or

walking? When they learn new skills that effects their ability to sleep. Also,

could she be cutting teeth? This was VERY disruptive to my daughter's sleep for

weeks! It could also be seperation anxiety which I believe also had

trouble with from time to time in stages.

I'm glad that you are seeing improvement. That kind of rules out a poorly

fitting band. Hopefully the sleep issues will pass and all will be back to

normal very soon.

Good news is we are getting improvement - so no matter how tired I

am, its worth it.

Kim,

So sorry to hear that your little Sky is having trouble adjusting to the helmet. I know that i have heard a few others say that their child just doesn't seem happy with it on- but I would hope that since over time she has gotten better about it during the day- she will continue to adjust. If you have seen improvement, I would think its not a fitting problem, although does it look or feel too tight to you in anyway? Do you think she may be overheated and uncomfortable? Could it be that when she is laying on it somehow its causing her discomfort- the ears, anything? It could be teething as well- its so hard when they can't tell you! But it could be that she just doesn't go for it on her head- I hope it gets better and/or treatment time is over soon. Hang in there!!! Keep us posted if your still awake out there ;)

> Well - we have FINALLY seen a tiny little tip of a white spot on

top gum!!!!

i think poor Sky had the unfortunate coincidence of starting to teeth

&

getting the helmet at the same time. Last 2 nights she has slept so

much

better maybe it was all that little tooth.

That is wonderful news Kim! I bet ya it was teething discomfort

interrupting her sleep - which is good news that it most likely

wasn't from her band.

Congratulations on Sky's first little chomper - and here's to a good

night's sleep.
