Guest guest
Unfortunately I don't have an RX yet. Also, I have begged and pleaded for priority and gotten nowhere because this office doesn't feel that helmet therapy is for real or worth it or whatever. I am not sure that I want my son sedated for a scan for something that he has such a small chance of having. My understanding is that the difference between cranio and plagio is pretty evident simply by looking. I don't think this doc is really concerned that has cranio - he's just ordering the test to cover his a**. Thanks for your support and suggestions, tho!! And I will keep begging for an earlier appointment. Kristi (4) and (10mos) OH
Guest guest
Kristi- Will you be traveling to Cleveland for a DOC Band or getting a locally made helmet or STARBand - if of course it is deemed necessary? There was a family from Westerville whose son had a DOC Band when Dane did. He might even be in a 2nd one now, I am not sure. If you are thinking about a DOC Band, I would suggest calling Straight Ahead and asking who wrote that script for that family. Dane's mom DOC Grad > Unfortunately I don't have an RX yet. Guest guest
, Thanks for the info. We have been in contact with Straight Ahead as there is no local helmet here nor is Starband in use that I have found. When were you going there? (So I can give a date range to look for me) Thanks Kristi (4) and (10mos) OH > > Unfortunately I don't have an RX yet. Guest guest
Dane graduated in May, so we don't have anymore appts. But, I'm sure (aka KKR) will remember me! LOL! We just have to pick up his exit headsicle when it comes in. They did an amazing job with Dane's noggin. will be in great hands. There were a lot of babies from Toledo going to Straight Ahead. There must be a plagio friendly dr. there. Maybe would be able to give you a number - if you are willing to go that far. My ped isn't completely on the " Band " wagon (pun intended), but I think she is more knowledgeable and open than most. The practice is open weekends, so maybe you could go there since you are coming to Cleveland anyhow. Just a thought. should be able to help you out with finding a dr. either here or closeby.
