Question about Creatine

I am going to start creatine. The thing is what is the best drink to take it

with? Using the Met-Rx brand.it says 10 grams for 5 days then 5 after that.why

do some say 20 grams the first 5 days? Also should it be cycled?

Don't forget that many companies advocate much larger doses of creatine than is

necessary because they make more profit that way. Many athletes have found that

the use of 3-6gm a day is very adequate to improve performance, without the need

for any high dosage loading phase. Cycling is not really necessary - you will

quite naturally discover that creatine starts to lose its effectiveness after a

few weeks, after which point you can stop using it and return to it a few weeks.

Also do not forget that creatine is no substitute for an efficient and effective

strength training program. First ensure that you have discovered by trial and

error (based upon science) which type of program suits you best at a given stage

of training - then consider using new supplements.
