Guest guest
Marci, Our prayers are with you and Olivia's family. Barbara & Gustavo (Parents to Sofia & Catalina who will get more hugs & kisses than ususal) > Hello all. I mentioned this yesterday in chat, but thought I would put forth my plea here as well. Yesterday a girl in 's daycare class died. The doctors have no idea what caused her death, but they think it was an infection of some sort. It came out of the blue and hit her fast. On Friday she had a low fever. When she was napping her mom walked past the room and noticed the covers moving. The child was having a seizure. They rushed her to Children's Hopsital. Her temp was 107 degrees. They induced a coma to keep her alive. Her condition deteriorated and the infection moved into her liver and eventually all her organs shut down and she passed away yesterday afternoon. Since they have not been able to determine the cause of death everyone who had contact with her (namely and all the kids in her class) are at risk. I'm totally freaked out by this. On the one hand my heart is broken for this family and on the other hand I'm scared to death for . I hope all that believe will pray for us and for Olivia's mom and dad. The health department is following this and hopefully will let us know what they find out. > > Hug your babies - I know that poor probably has sore ribs this morning! > > Marci (Mom to ) > Oklahoma

Guest guest
Marci, I will pray for and Olivia's family. My niece died this past October; she was only 4 years old. I still talk about her as if she is still with us. Maybe she is. Life will never be the same for Olivia's family. I pray that Olivia's mother is not blaming herself, thinking she should have done more. Her live will be hard enough without any additional burdens. I know you and the other families will need time yourselves because you are worried about your own children. I pray you will get word soon that the other children will be okay. If Olivia's classmates know what happened, they can make cards for Olivia's family. At my niece's memorial service the children released 100 pink balloons to decorate heaven for her, pink was her favorite color. It helps the child when they can do something and Olivia's family needs to know that she was loved and will be missed. My heart breaks. Heidi ( 6, 4, - 16 weeks w/tort and plagio) > Hello all.
