Guest guest
Pattie, I personally think that's a bit much to put on your kid 24/7 to prevent plagio from happening, when repositioning has worked successfully in doing that. I think the reason most of our kids need helmets is either the plagio started already inutero, has tort that is making repo near impossible, or were unaware of the need to reposition and continued along the primrose path the Docs have sold us that it will work itself out. Plagio doesn't just happen overnight, if we were all educated about it before hand, some may never have to go the helmet route- and still some of us will have to so that the dynamic process can help shift what has already started growing the wrong way. Sorry, just my opinion! But if I have another child- I will be looking out for tort and for sure keeping him/her off that back of the head as much and more on the tummy! Are they really promoting this as something a child should wear all the time to prevent plagio? ' Mom
