Yes , hang in there. I know how you feel. I've been there

too! I've been working on getting him a helmet for 3 months and I

finally got cast today. It will be nearly 4 months by the time he

gets the helmet. Right now, these helmets are such a new thing that

there is a lot of resistance, rejection, ignorance, and a negative

stigma. But I just keep thinking that I would rather have it be

hard for me right now than have my son have it hard for the rest of

his life. Then a surge of braveness overcomes me.
