,

I hope Timmy's dry/flaky skin clears up soon- I guess you'll pretty much have

to take a wait and see approach (eek- don't we hate that term!!!), and see if

once the band is on there are red marks to be concerned about. They should

have a back up in place for Lynne as they understand the importance of daily

growth. Good luck and I hope you don't need to make the drive, but if need

be, at the very least its a good option to have open.

Good luck!

Hi! I've been meaning to reply to this for a while, but I've been soooo

busy lately. We're moving in two weeks and packing seems to have taken over

my life.

Last week and the appointment two weeks before Timmy had his band adjusted.

Lynne shaved off some of the inside both times. We're actually having a

problem this week because I think he's grown some more and the band is

irritating him. He's very fussy with it on and can't sleep well. I think

it's a little more snug that usual. Also, his forehead is kind of pink and

a little flaky. I called CT but Lynne is on vacation and won't be back

until next Thursday. So I was put in touch with Charlotte from the New

Jersey office. She told me to keep Timmy's band off since yesterday to try

to get his skin cleared up. Then today, if it's better I have to start all

over with skin checks. I think it's mostly cleared up, so after his morning

nap I'm going to try to put it back on again. The only problem is, that if

the band is still causing irritation and needs to be adjusted, I'm most

likely going to have to go to New Jersey. That's a little over two hours

one way for us. My husband was not happy to hear that and felt there should

be a better plan in place for when Lynne is not available. I'm just hoping

we can get by until next Friday when our regular appointment is.

Hi :

Checking in with you for an update on Timmy's DOCband progress. Did

CT do an adjustment then at your last appt? That's a good sign if

so! Let us know. Thanks :)

Thanks for the update. I bet you've been very busy with packing for

a big move & all. What a drag packing is huh?

That's good news though that Timmy has already had some adjustments

made to his band! It means his head is rounding & rounding. I can

understand yours & your husband's frustrations about the fit problem

timmy is currently having. But I suppose everyone needs a vacation,

and Cranial Tech goes thru such an extensive training process that it

takes quite some time & educating before they'll let anyone else

treat their plagio babies, which is the way it should be, but I'd

feel the same as you if it were my baby in the band!

I hope his skin clears up today & you won't have to drive to NJ for

an adjustment.

Let us know how he looks today. Good luck.
