Guest guest
Ok, I am stuck with not knowing if I want to stencil the helmet or what? I just loved Mackenzie's stickers, they were so adorable!! So now I am at a catch 22. I bought some stencils of butterflies and flowers, but now I am not so sure. I wasn't really worried about changing it, since I am hoping that four months will go quickly (hmmmmm). I figured if I used a lot of colors that it would go with everything. I just don't want to screw this up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like sometimes I can be creative, other times things I do look like crap. I have trouble with laying things out. To symetrical, not symetrical enough, etc. Do I put her name on it or not? I want to practice on a styrofoam sphere. But I am still so confused. Guest guest
Joy, I found all of these stickers at 's Craft Stores and as a matter of fact, last week some of the Stickerkins' stickers were on sale for only $1 each. If you would like to see what types of stickers they have, go to this website - http://www.ericas.com/scrapbook/stickers/stickerkins.htm We used the birthday girl stickers for her band this time. They stick really well too...we used them for Mackenzie's first band decorations too (Stickerkins baby girl stickers) and I just barely pulled those off when we put these on. The only stickers that I have had to replace are the letters in her name as those rub off much easier. Hope this helped. > Ok, I am stuck with not knowing if I want to stencil the helmet or what? Guest guest
Ali, Idon't know what to use to clear coat or paint, I was a little to scared to try. I have been using stickers and changing them about every 4 days. However, they did have a folder at the orthotist of things that parents had done. Have you checked there? They may have some advice, as they have seen both the good and the bad. Good luck! mother Bryce 3, Kaelyn 5mos, Raegan 5mos (DOC Band 12/22/03) Overland Park, KS > Is there a file for decorating tips for bands? I could have sworn I saw one? Guest guest
Hi Ali - We used clear back stickers and a few coats of the glossy Mod Podge. It worked great cause when they started peeling or we got sick of them we could just peel them off and start over. Have fun with it and good luck!
