><I'm

curious, was there any discussion of a second band for you daughter?

BTW, my daughter's bird's eye before & after also show good

correction, but

most of her residual flattening is at ear level and below. Are Abby's

ears

still out of alignment when you look from below (chin up)?>

Hi :

Abby's remaining flatness is just like you said, below ear level. We

could have gotten her a 2nd band, but with her age, travel & expense,

it really wasn't an option for us. Abby had previously worn a

STARband for 3 mos prior to getting her DOCband with no improvment to

due an improper fit (grrr).

Abby's ears are still not perfectly symmetrical, again, just like you

have described (our daughter's head shape must be very similar!!), if

you hold Abby upside down (that's one of her favorite games to play

with Daddy), you can really notice they're off a bit yet.

All in all though, she looks great & I don't think any remaining

flatness or assymetries are noticeable to others who didn't know how

bad she was prior to her DOCband.

How old is your daughter now? 16 mos did you say?
