Update on Mya's casting appt

July 26, 2002

Hi ALL! Well I am happier today because I was talking with one of my

friends and she said she could go to the casting with me but the 6th

was a hard day for her. So I called CT to see if I could have the 5th

appt they first offered me. But they said no they were all full that

day. SO I was completly bummed again. I got on line and found out

that the lab reopens on Aug 1 so I began to be a little bugged that

we had to wait all the way till the 6th to get casted. So I called

back CT and asked why they couldnt fit me in the week before and I

explained how the appt I have now is going to be so hard on my family

with me having to do the casting alone and then my husband coming

home after being gone for 5 weeks and then I have to leave for an

over nighter and it just is so stressful on my family. And I said if

I could get an earlier casting it all would be resolved and so she

checked for me and told me that she could fit me in on Aug 1 at 1115

and then that would put Myas fitting on AUg 15! YEAH!! I was sooo

happy. I called my freind and told her and so now we are going to get

someone to watch our kids she has 5 and I have 2 others besides Mya

and she will come with me to the casting. She will have to bring her

nursing baby but he wont be a problem at all! I am just soooo

releived!!! Plus Mya will be getting inher band 5 days sooner which

isnt a whole lot but is still sooner!!! Plus when my husband gets

home I wont have to rush off the next day!! YEAHHHHH Im so excited I

just had to share it!! WHEWWWW I can feel the stress just falling off

of me. I still am ticked a bit though that if CT hadve faxed Tricare

the info right after Myas re eval on July 11 she couldve been casted

before the lab closed since Tricare approved it the same day they

recieved the fax, But I cant let it get to me nothing I can do about

that now. I am just feeling sooo much better now. ANd I want to

thank all who replied to my post I really appreciate all the words

of encouragement! It helped ALOT!!
