We saw the orthodist today, and got the new helmet! WOw! So, this is

what a STAR band is supposed to look like? LOL I compared all the

diffrences, and I can see he was just casted all wrong. Well...

That's my unprofessional opinion, but we will soon find out for sure!

She added some foam to the check positoner parts, and didn't cut the

rest down too much. He is going to wear the helmet untill he gets the

glasses, and then she suggested him just wearing the glasses. That

way we will get an idea of how they are really going to sit

comfortably on his face, so we don't adjust it wrong. Does that make

sense? Does to me, but it's hard to explain! LOL Then we will go see

her on tueday, and just go from there. It's gonna be a playing it by

ear thing, and we will DEFINATLY not be forgotten! :) Next week is

going to be another crazy one, because we have so many drs appts!

HOpefully, I will be able to remain sane, but who knows! Today I am

getting used to the idea that they are going to have to wear them,

and am a little nervouse of what the outcome will be. Now my search

is on for a good website, so if anyone knows of one I'd love to hear

about it!Thanks so much for everything!

Aime,

This is great news! I am so happy that his new band fits correctly!

This ortho sounds so much better than the other one! I think Dakota

is going to look so cute in his band and his glasses! If you can post

some pics!!

Amie:

You definitely sound to be in great spirits today, that is terrific!

I'm glad Dakota's new STARband is in & fits better than his last one

did. I bet you'll see some rounding soon - I definitely hope so.

Good luck with all of next week's Drs appts., the twins will be just

fine....you're doing everything within your power to help

them....they're lucky to have a super duper mommy!

Please keep us updated on everything....again good luck!

Amie,

Glad to hear that the new band seems to be a better fit. Hopefully you will

start seeing correction in no time. Good luck with all the drs appointments next

week and let us know how they go!
