Guest guest
Wow! What kind of place is this? Whats the name. I dont know of anything like that around here. But Id love to try and find out if theres one close. That sounds soo cool Christi > Debbie, > Abby looks so beautiful! I bet she'll be excited to go the next time. I take (my almost 3 year old) every 2 months for a haircut and she loves it. We go to this place that is just for kids and Miss Sherry cuts her hair. She sits in this little car with a steering wheel, horn and pedals, and she gets to pick a movie that they play on the little TV right in front of her, and the cut takes only about 5 minutes. Afterwards everyone there tells her how beautiful she looks and she gets a sucker. Heck, I'd like treatment like that. Kuddos to Abby for being such a big girl! > > Gail > Abby's 1st Haircut Photo -Off Topic! > > > I never thought I could get so excited over a lousy haircut! But Abby's almost 2.5 yrs old and has always had a ton of hair. I've tried once previously to get her haircut professionally, well that didn't go over well to say the least. So today after an hour of talking about how big girls get haircuts, how much fun they are, etc....she finally agreed to get hers cut! I promised her a present if she was a good girl. > > So we get to the salon, walk in & she got quite nervous, wanted to go " bye bye " immediately! I thought there was no way she'd get her haircut. Surprisingly enough, she did and was an angel! She sat on my lap, ate a sucker and watched trucks going by out the window. > > She took a good 2 inches off the back & trimmed the bangs - all I've ever done is trim her bangs & let me tell ya, I'm no beautician! Her bangs have always been SO uneven until now! > > Anyhow, I'm just having a proud mommy moment for once and wanted to share! Hope everyone has a great weekend > > Debbie Abby's mom 3/1/00 DOCgrad 6/01 > MI >
Guest guest
We had a place similar to the one Gail has described in our area, it was called " Treehouse " ...they had Clifford vidoes playing, race cars for the child to sit in while they were getting their haircut....but no sooner did I decide to take Abby there, they closed & went bankrupt! Grrrrr. Debbie > > Debbie, > > Abby looks so beautiful! I bet she'll be excited to go the next > time. I take (my almost 3 year old) every 2 months for a > haircut and she loves it. Guest guest
We go to a place called Kids Cuts & Curls. It's just for kids. When the kids get too big to sit in the little cars they can sit in a regular chair and play video games. I pay $15 for a trim, but it's worth every penny. They also have a play structure and ball pit for the kids to play in while mom is paying. It's a fun outing for all. There's another place called Cool Cuts for Kids, and I think I'm going to take Sam there today for his first buzz cut. This will be a true test of his new head shape. I'll post a picture when I get one... Gail, Sam and Sara's mom, DOC grads Abby's 1st Haircut Photo -Off Topic! > > > > > > I never thought I could get so excited over a lousy haircut!
