Overpopulation is such a problem! I saw a bumber sticker that said " If you don't rescue, don't breed. " (I guess that could pertain to humans too! LOL) Now, I'm not a bumper sticker fan, but that is one I would slap one my car. I rescued a 13ish year old beagle last summer who had pyometria. Someone bred her and dumped her. It wasn't a wise chioce to adopt her and has cost us a ton of money. I thought she deserved to have a comfortable last couple of years since she had never been pampered or probably even loved before.
