Guest guest
Marci, Thanks so much for looking those up for me! I appreciate it. Mack has his appt. yesterday. We were originally told we'd see Dr. proctor, but got Dr. Madsen. I didn't like him one bit! Spent less than 5 minutes with us and we drove 1 1/2 hours to get there, plus they sent us to the wrong department 3 times, so we were late. Anyway, he feels Mack's case is mediocre and if we feel his plagio isn't improving by 5 months, then bring him back for re-evaluation " if I want " . (Mack is 10 weeks right now). Apparently his head measurements are within normal ranges, but his ears are quite misaligned. So, I plan to wait until he's 4 months and see Dr. Proctor instead - unless I see major improvement. Mack has already improved quite a bit since birth and I am using repositioning techniques. Thanks again!!! Chris (Mack 10 wks)
Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that Dr. Madsen was a big goober! Driving all that way for a wishy-washy evaluation really stinks. I think you have the right idea though - if his head doesn't improve noticeably in the next couple of months go back and see if Dr. Proctor might be more thorough and helpful. Keep up the good work with the repositioning and tummy time - that will surely help especially with Mack being so young Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
