Guest guest
- That is such great news! Just in time to relief your mind of some of the stress so you can enjoy the weekend. How far away from Kansas City are you? Have you considered Rehab Designs of America (CT)? They have the DOC Band. I only ask this in the event that is is closer than driving to OKC. I equate driving long distances in the car with my kids to chipping away at some of the time I will be spending in purgatory. Dane's mom DOC Grad > Thanks to every one for your encouragement. It is such a HUGE releif to talk to others who have been there and know what I am experincing and facing. > Yesterday I spoke with a lady from Missouri's Early Intervention Program (here it is called FIrst Steps, in OK I think it is Sooner Starts), they will pay for Lucas's helmet, IF he qualifies. To qualify the DR has to either say Lucas has a developmental delay, deveopmentla disablity, or cranial facial anomoly. I would be noramlly very leery of things like this, but any help we can get would be better then none at all. They will come and asses Lucas (in our home) to see > if he will need any further therapy (PT, OT) if so they will cover that too. That was such an answer to prayer. We have pretty much made up our mind to get the band. >
