Guest guest
Hi - welcome to our group! We're glad to have you with us as well. I'm SO happy to hear your daughter actually laughed during her casting?!!! That's terrific. She must be one happy little girl. I am glad you got some improvement with repositioning alone, that'll mean less time in her helmet! That's great your ins. will cover this helmet & you've heard good things about it! Where abouts do you live? Welcome again....please let us know when the helmet is in & how you ALL adjust to it. Keep us updated. Guest guest
Hello and welcome! I'm glad you have joined our group. My daughter wore a locally made helmet also. It only cost $700 and we got very good results. You hear a whole lot about bands in this group and they are really great, but locally made helmets can work really well too when they are made by experienced and skilled orthotists - can you can't beat the cost! :-) I'm glad to hear that you made some progress with repositioning. That's excellent. The helmet should take care of the rest of the problem! It's great that your daughter was so happy and carefree during the casting - she should have no problem at all adjusting to the helmet. Let us know when she is scheduled to go in for the fitting.
