Guest guest
Amie, I'm sure that they will adjust the helmet to fit the glasses and make it comfortable- just as always with everything, keep an eye on red marks. You'll be the first to pave the way for the next family that has this going on- so you'll be a pioneer in some regard!! Be happy and don't cry- your little one will be just fine and will be able to see while having a head shape corrected- your a great mom for being so on top of these medical conditions!!! Glasses on a young child is probably tough to deal with (at least keeping them on?), but I always try to look at the positive in everything, it helps keep me sane, and its great that the kids HAVE vision, it may need some help, but its there and I know that your thankful for that! Good luck to you in your endeavor and please do keep us updated- your shared experience will no doubt help the next parent lurking out there going through the same thing. Guest guest
Hi Amie, I just read Debbie's post real quick to see if she mentioned the parent with the baby who wore glasses. I remember it the same way that Debbie does. I was surprised that she was told her baby couldn't wear both. It's good to hear that CT has at least banded babies who wear glasses -that way you know it can be done! I'm glad that there is help available for them with their eyesight - that is a good thing. It will be like the band - easy for the baby to adjust, but harder for mom! Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma
Guest guest
Thank you for your kind words, and I will update you all on her thoughts of it tommorow. Since we were delayed two days in getting the new helmet it better be in tommorow! Marci you hit it right on the head! It really is going to be harder for me to adjust to it, and I really wish I could find the real first 'pioneer'! Amie
