Guest guest
Hey . Congratulationa on finally getting a tooth. My sister, who is now 21 with absolutely perfect teeth, didn't cut a tooth until she was almost 13 months. She was walking at 9 months and my mom said it looked so funny to see this little girl walking around with no teeth. I have heard something, and I don't know if it's a myth or not, but that the longer the teeth take to come in, the better the teeth are when they do. My husband's cocky arrogant friends thought there was something wrong with because he didn't get any teeth until he was eight months, but their little Princess Sydnie got her first tooth at 3 months. I want to scream at them every time they open their big mouths and tell them that 8 months is a little more normal than 3 months. Let me tell you, my sister's teeth are not in the least bit discolored and she never needed any braces. I did! I say the longer they take, the better! Although I don't think there's any factual evidence behind that! Kellie, mom of , 18 months Olympia, WA

Guest guest
I've heard that many times too (the later they come in, the better). My first, Zoe, cut her first tooth at the same time she learned to walk... right around 10 months. Cole is an "early" bloomer, having just cut his first tooth at 8 months!
