I'm new here, having been a member of the group

PositionalPlagioSupport for almost a year now. So for those of you

on that group, this is a rehash.

Anyway, for those of you who's child has gone into a second band (or

a first band as a toddler) -- what was the severity or measurements

at that time? And what were the results after treatment? I would

also be interested to hear from those who dealt with the second band

dilemma and decided not to go with it.

My daughter will be 16mo old when she goes into her second band next

month. We've had such a varied response from the specialists she's

seen, that I'm wondering how other's experiences compare.

BTW, my daughters measurements are 6mm CVA & 4mm SBA, but she has a

relatively small head (45mm circum).

Hi

My son Dylan is in his second band and i am meeting with the doctors on

Wednesday to decide whether Dylan needs a third helmet. Dylan is nearly

18months old. He started the treatment at 8 months went into his second

helmet at 1 year. I have not got any measurements to tell you. I know that

Dylan has had correction with his second helmet, but i don't know it at 18

months he would get any more correction with a third helmet. His ears are

still misaligned i would love for them to go back more. i will know more

when i go to the appointment on Wednesday.

Take care

Kerry - Marcus (3) Dylan 17 months
