Thanks for understanding . How long will Mya be in her 2nd band? Have they given you an estimate. Way to go...sticking with it . Isn't it great to kiss their soft little heads? Can't wait till we can both do it daily .

Hi,

My implants didn't show any visible signs of fungus or bacteria either. They are as clear as can be. However, I did notice that it seems as though there isn't as much saline in them as there should be. They seemed to be a little bit deflated. One much more than the other. My doctor and many others said they (if the valve is defective) will leak all the saline out at once and not just leak a little at a time. I know that this is bull!

Who is doing your pathology report? Dr. Blais?

My symptoms were more like silicone symptoms than bacteria ones as well. Now...I feel so much better that there is no doubt it was the implants. I don't know why or how but it was the implants. I had them for seven years so they were probably just breaking down inside me or my body was just fed up with them.

In the last four weeks (since explant) I have been losing weight as well. I have not really been exercising...which I used to...because it is finals time at school. I have been eating the same and drinking the same amount of water. Somehow though...I'm less bloated and not retaining as much water.
