A new rat study shows that two hours per week of cell phone exposure for one

year resulted in diminished interest and impaired memory function.

The researchers found that a single two hour exposure period increased

permeability of the blood brain barrier, allowing substances into the brain

that should not get in. Signs of brain damage began showing up 4-8 weeks

after the exposure, indicating that damage is cumulative over time.
