You think you'd know his name. Every time you switch on a light or turn on

your radio, you are benefiting from the labors of his brilliant mind. His

contributions are as far reaching as those of Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton,

or even his nemesis Tom Edison, yet few know his name.

Nikola Tesla.

Tesla was a lifelong inventor who wanted nothing but to uplift the condition

of humanity, yet was, in the end, rewarded with obscurity.

He died in a motel room; penniless and largely forgotten in 1946, at the age

of 86.

His inventions include:

a.. AC electricity

b.. Neon lights

c.. Radio transmission

d.. The electric motor

e.. Remote control

f.. Hydraulics

g.. Basic laser and radar technology

h.. X-rays

i.. Cellular technology

j.. Star Wars tactical warfare and space weapons

k.. Robotics, and much, much more

All over 100 years ago!

Tesla's greatest invention also became his downfall. He claimed to have

invented a way to harness free energy from the voltage difference in the

ionosphere that causes lightning, which made him a threat to the world

energy economy.

Immediately after his death, most of his inventions were classified for

national security reasons by the U.S. government. Many of his discoveries in

physics have never been released to the public.

Tesla was a mystic who wrote and recited poetry, and spoke 6 languages. Yet

he battled hallucinogenic episodes daily, and suffered from various

compulsions and phobias. Perhaps a perfect example of how closely related

madness and genius can be, if there ever was one.

Will Alternative Medicine Suffer Tesla's Ultimate Fate?

His fight and unfortunate fate reminds me of the battle we're currently

waging against the pharmaceutical industry.

His idea of providing free energy, not just for the U.S., but for the entire

world, was simply too grand a vision. Big business couldn't allow it, and

therefore resorted to the oldest tricks in the book: discredit his work and

shut him down.

Likewise, inexpensive natural medicine and healthful living as a means to

avoid disease and increase longevity is simply not profitable, whereas pills

and potions for every imaginable ailment and subsequent side effect are.

Meanwhile, Tesla's fantastic ideas are still implemented and used (sometimes

for highly questionable purposes) today, such as the High Frequency Active

Auroral Research Program (HAARP); a massive radio-transmitter in Alaska

operated by the Department of Defense. In the same vein, natural remedies

like herbs have been, and still are, used as the " active ingredient " in a

vast majority of pharmaceutical drugs, which unfortunately won't work nearly

as safely or well without all the other natural compounds acting in concert

with the one extracted.

Nikola Tesla stands as a poster boy for inventors, scientists, doctors and

educators of all kinds whose ideas and life's work is dismissed because it

is found to be too beneficial to mankind, and not lucrative enough for big

business.

But together we can still turn things around. That is the basis of my

personal mission: to change the current health care paradigm into one that

supports your efforts to achieve a high level of health without the use of

expensive drugs or surgery.

And, as far as alternative, clean, sustainable energy is concerned, it may

be closer than you think. If you haven't heard about the Orion Project,

check out their website at TheOrionProject.org and see for yourself what the

future might hold.

Tesla would be proud.
