Guest guest
Rosie, Okay, I finally found DGL. I guess I should have put in supplement along with it. Was able to find everything with " DGL " , but it was nothing to eat. LOL Now I have it. I have not found a sight that totally explains it, the sites I have gotten are selling it. But, it seems to help with stomach problems-is this correct. They also speak about aloe vera juice, that it is soothing to the stomach, what is your thought with this. I have aloe vera juice in the frig. I don't think it would hurt Bianca to take it, if this is what it helps with. What are your thoughts. Guest guest
Aloe is good if one can tolerate it, is made with organic aloe and does not contain a number of preservatives. Read the label. Long term use of aloe also depletes potassium from the body and may cause loose stools in some depending if the whole leaf or only inside portion of the aloe is used. May also cause fluid and electrolyte imbalances, cramplike GI symptoms. The whole leaf is contraindicated in inflammatory bowel disease, kidney and liver disease. Whole leaf long term (more than couple of weeks) may cause intestinal sluggishness and laxative dependence. DGL has been used to heal ulcers in stomach and intestines, has anti-inflammatory actions. Does not increase blood pressure nor affect adrenals as licorice. Comes in chewable tablets. I purchase mine in bulk by the kilo to share with close friends. You have to decide what your daughter needs; I can only give you some facts. Rosie [] DGL-Rosie Rosie, Okay, I finally found DGL. I guess I should have put in supplement along with it.
