Guest guest
Mark~ It has been a long time since I used my BM, ... One of the things that helped me (I think) was to go into devices and then device manager, then device properties of the brainmaster, settings, and make sure that counter and check sample rate are ticked. Hope this helps. ~ Connecting new hardware I assembled a new computer in our office today and loaded BioExplorer. The pendant/BioEx combo is working okay, but not BioEx with BrainMaster hardware. I installed the wireless dongle for the pendant, but it's been so long I couldn't remember if I needed to install anything else to make the BrainMaster box work with BioEx. Any suggestions? Guest guest
Mark, Sorry if this is too late. BioExplorer contains the drivers for all the amps it can run. If you have a serial/com port, then you don't need even to install a driver for the port. If you are using a KeySpan adaptor to create a serial port from a USB, then you need to make sure you have installed the software drivers for that. Try going to My Computer and right-clicking and choosing Properties. In the window that opens, select Hardware tab and then click the Device Manager button (with the BrainMaster and Pendant dongle both plugged in. Click on the + sign beside the Ports listing to open it. See what ports have been assigned to the Wireless Dongle and to the KeySpan USB adaptor. Make sure you have also set the Port properties correctly for the Pendant and that you have set the proper Port Numbers in BioExplorer (the ones shown on the Control Panel.) If you are getting a No Port sign, when BrainMaster is selected as the Device on the Status bar across the top of the screen and it is checked (and only it is checked, as you mentioned in another post it was) and the BrainMaster is charged up and turned on, then you have somehow mislabeled the port. If you are getting a Connecting that never becomes Connected, then there is something wrong with the unit (as long as you have the settings as described them).
