Hamish,

Where do you get choline from CDP Choline and Alpha GPC?

I think you're wrong there. I think it's as important as overall bodily

health and exercise, but there is much more you can do. DHEA is not that

relevant here, but only a small part of a large puzzle.

I agree with the Cognitex and Cyrpenil regime as a minimum for anyone serious

about longevity and extending quality and quantity of life. I would also throw

melatonin into the mix, as it really does stop the brain 'rusting at night.

Deprenyl supplementation is vital IMO as you get older, and you should start as

early as possible (from the age of 30 onwards) - it's never too late to

start. A decline in dopamine levels in the brain is one of the causes of

noticeable 'aging'.

Make sure you get your choline either from CDP Choline or Alpha GPC as there

are plenty of studies showing that they are effective in increasing acetyl

choline levels in the brain. Soy Lecithin + b5 is another (but inferior) way to

do it, but obviously the concerns about soy might influence your decision there.

Avoid all other choline sources such as Choline Bitartrate etc, as the

bioavailability is shockingly low, and it's questionable about whether the

acetyl choline passes the blood brain barrier.
