Guest guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 My husband said he heard something on the news about flaxseed oil taken alongside supplements containing any form of hormones will cause cancer, specifically prostate cancer. I've gone through menopause, and for several years I've been taking Red Clover Blossom which has natural phytoestrogens. Since this regards hormones, I'm concerned. Does anyone know of any real danger in taking flax oil and these other types of supplements? Is my husband's health at risk because I give him a Saw Palmetto and a Beta-Sitosterol along with flax?
