Glutamine Based Growth Hormone Releasing Products: A Bad Idea? http://www.newtreat ments.org/ loadlocal. php?hid=974 I wrote the article above some seven years ago. I wrote it in part to refute the arguments of someone whose name was (if I remember history correctly) Greg . I wonder if anyone here really cares what I had to say back then during my debates with my old friend Greg, and whether I should I update my article with recent evidence from the medical community that supports my point of view. -gts

Guest guest
Okay, , when I get a chance I will update that article. Funny thing is, several years ago I closed the site on which I had published it. I then lost my local copy and thought it was gone. But a web search found it again at www.newtreatments.org. It seems they had copied my article to their server without asking me. I have no affiliation with them. -gts > From: <whoooo26505@...> > Subject: Re: Glutamine Based Growth Hormone Releasing Products: A Bad Idea? > Longevity > Date: Monday, November 3, 2008, 3:20 PM > ... Guest guest
.... whatever happened to Greg? Is he still here? I know Ellis is still around on his list. I recall those discussions to be somewhat lively. Dr. , Esq. Guest guest
> Do you think exciticity is the same as ROS. Closely related, but not exactly the same. Excitotoxicity, as I use the word, refers to over-excitation of neurons (brain cells) by certain amino acids, especially glutamate. This over-excitation leads to damage to the neuron by free-radicals, a type of ROS. -gts
Guest guest
: Last I looked into it, Greg had grown tired of us over on the Anti-Aging Research list and had started his own discussion group. But that was a few years ago. I have no idea if he's still around. I still belong to Ellis' Rejuvenation, but not AAR. -gts > > > From: <whoooo26505> > > Subject: Re: Glutamine Based Growth > Hormone Releasing Products: A Bad Idea? > > Longevity@grou ps.com > > Date: Monday, November 3, 2008, 3:20 PM > > ... Guest guest
I believe Greg was studying to become a naturopathic doctor in Australia. I suspect it has opened his mind to newer truths. > > > From: <whoooo26505> > > Subject: Re: Glutamine Based Growth > Hormone Releasing Products: A Bad Idea? > > Longevity@grou ps.com > > Date: Monday, November 3, 2008, 3:20 PM > > ...
