I would have never thought of that description either. I have been visiting this oil quite often. I like it and think that it offers something unique, but it is not my favorite new oil by a long ways. Anyway, I am happy others are having fun with it. And I am going to use it in a new solid perfume (along with 'normal' Lavender absolute, Lavender eo, Neroli, Petitgrain Bigarade, CO2, Sandalwood, incense, Geranium, Ylang, etc., etc). so I will see how it plays with the other oils in the formula... I heard back about the plant parts used to extract the Lavender Seville Absolute. Here is from the folks who extract it: " Will, Lavender ieri Spain, the parts of the plants used are the top floral stems. I believe there must be some tiny bits and pieces of leaves but the bulk part of the raw material is flowers. " Oh well, I guess my intuition about the herbaceous parts being used was not entirely correct. (Good, now I do not have to change my web site and price list.) I would be very interested to see, touch and smell the actual plant and the flowers on this species of Lavender... I guess this topic is cooked for now. Let me know privately (anyone) how to describe this oil aromatically. It has been a hard one for me to describe in words.
