Guest guest
Hi...I can't resist...the creative juices are flowing, and I wanted to share the recipe for another 1 oz (or so) men's citrusy-floral EDT blend I've put together: Top: bergamot 10, lemon 5, petitgrain 4, lime 1, davana 1, basil 1 Heart: neroli 20, rose 1, clove bud absolute 1, tarragon absolute 1 Base: cedar atlas 5, benzoin 5, musk ambrette 4, patchouli 2, tonka 2 It smells real good! Too bad I have to wait a few months for it to marry and then fuse with alcohol. I was wondering if that second drop of patchouli would be too much, but no...the benzoin and tonka probably helped to offset it. And the small hits of davana and tarragon add nice accents. Thank goodness for musk ambrette...I'm real glad that people here have promoted that one so much. Thanks also to the knowledgeable people here who take time to offer advice and help newbies like me come a long way in the space of just months.
