Guest guest
I just had a phone call from a woman for whom I had included the gemmo vaccinium in her prescription. The story goes, she got up (8:30 am) went to the bathroom to take her UNDAs, and started with vaccinium. It was the first time I have prescribed vaccinium, but over the last three years she has taken many gemmos. As soon as the gemmo touched her mucous membranes she began to cough violently, then her throat started to constrict, then her legs began to quiver. Being alone in the apartment she though she would be better found in if she were in the hallway, so she went out and sure enough met a neighbour who called 911. At the hospital he was put on Oxygen and antihistamines and was fine by noon. She is a terrific sport and gently told me that she would rather not try it again. Anyone ever experience something like this? Oh, if it is of any interest, she has CLL – very well managed – but is currently exhausted after a period of extensive travel.
