I'm going to take this opportunity to thank you for the sample of

your replica of 'Joy' by Patou (if memory serves) which you offered and

sent me a few months back. I believe you said you used a small amount

of synthetic fragrance along with naturals - it has been a very useful

standard for me to compare my own creations against. Unlike other

synthetic-containing perfumes I've tried, it does not give me a

headache even with prolonged sniffing and is a lovely classic.
